CORONA GORDA

91 POINTS 5 5/8 x 46 Humidor Selection.

Another perfectly constructed cigar. This pressed beauty delivers a sweet and spicy smoke with some herbal notes and hints of cocoa throughout. Medium to Full.

BRAND SUMMARY: Prensado translates to “box pressed” in Spanish, and these new cigars were built around a corojo 2006 wrapper grown in Trojes, Honduras , near the Nicaraguan border. Brand owner Alan Rubin first smoked the tobacco in 2008 and decided to create an entirely new line around the leaf. The cigars are perfectly pressed and impeccably constructed with gleaming picturesque wrappers. It is, to date, the most impressive vertical tasting of any Alec Bradley brand.
